We’ve opened the gates of Smith Horsemanship to allow day and weekly visitors to experience the life with us. Come learn, live, and ride alongside our team - no long-term commitment required.

Includes:

Full-day access to our training schedule starting at 8am
Hands-on horsemanship experience (groundwork & potentially riding)
Participation in theory, Q&A, and group discussions

Excluding:

Meals (self catering)

Weekly Live-In Experience

Stay on-site. Train with us. Live like a student.

This is a one-week taste of what our academy students experience over the full year. It’s immersive, hands-on, real, and raw. You’ll live in our student cabins, follow the full training schedule, and become part of our horsemanship family for the week. Bringing your own horse can be arranged at additional cost.

You’ll Get:

Shared accommodation in our student quarters
Hands-on horsemanship experience (groundwork & potentially riding)
Participation in theory, Q&A, and group discussions
Trail ride or liberty work (depending on the day)
Mentorship from Roan & the Smith Horsemanship team

Excluding:

Meals (self catering)
Pleasure rides

Schedule: Arrive Sunday afternoon – Depart Friday afternoon
